三层防护：

I.底层(网络数据包过滤)：检查网络数据包和其中参数的合法性，参数包括源地址、目的地址、端口等。这样，Jetico个人防火墙可以将您的个人计算机和不可信网络信息隔离开。通过合理配置防御策略，可以拦截任何黑客发出的探测(例如：ShieldsUp检测)，探测结果会显示您的计算机不存在，使您相对于黑客隐形。

II.应用层(网络事件过滤)：监视各种来自于网络(互联网)的、通过各种应用程序发出的连接请求。您可以限制或拦截任一网络请求，如果您不知道此请求为何要和您建立连接或收发数据？

III.用户层(进程活动过滤)：防御特洛伊木马和其它恶意程序(特洛伊木马可以将其恶意代码注入您计算机程序中，将您的隐私发送给其它人或宿主。例如：网页木马可以将您浏览和输入的信息传给宿主)。
